Just on the outskirts of Glasgow, this is a wonderful distillery. We did the basic tour at £10 p.p. and our guide was very informative. Tasting experience excellent. If driving, remember Scotland has lower drink drive limit than others. Close by is the Erskine Bridge and the river Clyde. On a bus route but check frequency and bus route number.

We did the basic tour (60 mins, £10pp, incl a dram) and found it to be appropriately informative, interesting and fun. Our guide Jeremy was really good too!

I'm not a whisky fan but as my husband is I booked us on the ultimate tour for his birthday and we both had a great time, once we found it! If you walk in the right direction from the train station it is very easy, however it's not that easy when you don't exactly know what direction that is!... More

We went for a late afternoon tour, just the basic one at £10 and were really impressed. Excellent, friendly guide who knew his stuff and made sure to stop and see if we had questions throughout. Took us through the process and gave loads of interesting information about the history of the distillery, the whisky ageing process etc. We then... More

Had a great time on The Experience Tour. Got to taste four very different whiskies and some of them where extremely good. Our guide Brian was fantastic and with his honest oppinions positively remainded us all how differet everybodys tastebuds are from each others. Me and my husband definitely recommend! Used local bus to go there and it worked out... More

This wasn't the first time I've taken friends here but they never cease to amaze me on how friendly they are! The distillery is a fully functioning one that produces some really smooth whisky. The tour explained the process of how to make it very nicely and expertly. You get a full access view of the place and a tasting... More

A group of 15 of us went to the distillery as part of my stag do, the group was almost broken down into 3 groups, those who love whisky, those who don't like whisky and those who can take it or leave it. The reason I point this out is that everyone loved the tour, the whisky and didn't want... More

got the tour as a Christmas present and really enjoyed it. lasted about an hour and got a couple of free samples at the end. The tour itself was very informative and interesting and the tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and appeared to have a genuine passion in what she was doing...

An excellent tour of the distillery by Brian, very down to earth, friendly and knowledgeable. Good value for money too at £10. If in doubt how to get there by public transport ask for directions when booking, as Kilpatrick station is a shorter walk than the route suggested by Google maps.

I love whisky, my wife really doesn't, but even my beloved thoroughly enjoyed the tour, simply because it's a fascinating story. Jeremy our guide, was a young and really knowledgeable guide and kept dropping in little one liners about his personal choices and thoughts on aspects of whisky, which added to the experience. Whether you like whisky or not the... More
