The trifecta of retail therapy, wondrous discovery and what I can only describe as home-baked nostalgia being kept warm just in case you happened to be by. Fans even the faintest appetite for reading. Each visit is like coming to a wild garden in a new season.

It's difficult to leave Young's without a purchase - the range of both antiquarian and second hand books covers Scottish history and literature to more wide-ranging novels and even pop-up books. Recommended for a happy place to browse and be delighted!

The fabulous smell of old books hits you the minute you step into this beautiful wee shop! It has a wonderful array of secondhand books, ranging from classics to music books to books about psychology. I would recommend this shop to anyone who enjoys reading, it is definitely worth the visit!

Well worth a trip to the south side of Glasgow and a casual browse: classics, memories of childhood, and an eclectic mix of all kinds of literature. Go read!

After noticing this book shop a couple of times I decided to wander in and have a look. Many books caught my eye of all sorts of different styles and I bought four in particular that really interested me. The shop owner was lovely and very kind. I will certainly be going back in the future.
