Amazing setting and scenery

Our second visit to the town and visit to the university, a very inviting friendly town. An amazing set of buildings and grounds, lots to see.

When I was walking around the town, I always was thinking that every building in St Andrews belongs to the university. And I'm almost right. So, if you want to see the university, you have to walk a wee bit around. It was really nice to walk here on Sunday and listen to chime and see all the students wearing... More

Only went into Younger Hall for the festival, which was OK but not fantastic. Generally seemed very amateurly put together. No local advertising or awareness - our hotel was opposite and they were not aware of the event.

The University provided an excellent friendly ambience for a happy occasion! It was close to the service and there food was fine dining standard!

Wonderful buildings and quads to visit all open to the visitor. This is a University like no other in the world. To have studied here would have been an enormous privilege.

Wonderful event, with three days of spectacular concerts, performances, informal lectures, and a Come and Play session.

A truly comprehensive visit with friendly, knowledgeable students. We felt very welcome by everyone we came in contact with. A beautiful town and university steeped in history.

A beautiful quadrangle with the oldest buildings in St Andrews University and some students offered a bit of history to go with it.

My daughter visited an open day last week by train - having missed a day of school, and travelled hundreds of miles to see this university she was disappointed to be told that open day students are not allowed to see the library. This marred what was otherwise an enjoyable day. Come on St. Andrews, you are a good university... More

Took the formal campus tour with a fourth-year student in August 2016. Beautiful and historic campus is worth the time and walk. St. Andrews Cathedral is NOT a part of the campus tour, but it is within walking distance, so make sure you leave time to see that as well.
