This historic building is steeped in history. It dates back to the 1850s, when it was the station master’s lodge and the history and heritage live on. Today, The Jigger Inn is home to golfing memorabilia, crackling open-hearth fires, home-cooked food and a superb selection of Scottish beers – this is traditional Scottish pub hospitality at its very best. Fondly referred to as ‘the towns best 19th hole’ and much loved by the many celebrities who visit.

Had lunch at this iconic spot after my husband played 18 holes on The Old Course in 25 mile an hour winds. I had a curry and the husband had the steak sandwich. Both were lovely. We were there right when it opened so not busy. Lots of great pictures and golf memorabilia to look at. You can see 17... More

Cozy wee pub. Excellent selection of drinks and food and snacks. Views of the old course. Great place to hear the golf chat and watch the golfers on the course. Will be back.

Stopped in for lunch. Good food and cold pints in an awesome setting right beside the Old Course. The pub has a great atmosphere and is worth a look!

The Jigger in is a wonderful original Scottish Pub next to the Old Course and the Old Course Hotel in St. Andrews. Dark old wood, a nice terrace and good pub food makes a visit worth it. I have been there twice and always met very nice interesting Golfers from all over the world.

Grab a St. Andrews Ale or Belhaven and step back in time. Split a meal mid afternoon. Sit by the hearth or out in the courtyard. Feels like Cheers from 1850.

Every time we go to St Andrews, we visit. Love the atmosphere sitting outside watching the golfers. Food is fabulous & we always get chatting to others. Love the decor in the bar & the ladies restroom is especially nicely done.

On a 4 day visit we had to have a pint in the famous Jigger Inn. You can only sample the Jigger Ale in this bar given its not available anywhere else in the world. Cosy with great enthusiastic staff making this a must visit if you go to St Andrews. In truth we visited every day!
