I returned to Callendar Park this year and the gardens are still a pleasure and the lobby entrance and stairwell of Callendar House is still imposing and charming and instantly conveys a sense of history. But the upstairs tea rooms have had a 'make over'....More

I was hoping for oil paintings and fine furniture but is a museum not a palace. I did like the history of Falkirk football club with the amusing article about an outrageous world record transfer fee of 5,500 pounds paid by the club.

Season 2 , episode 11. Got to go in the actual kitchen used in Outlander! A different Claire was in period dress and told us about the kitchen, very informative and interesting. All staff very friendly, plenty to look at and it's FREE.

We called here after having been at The Kelpies and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house itself is magnificent, and so are the grounds around it. Entry is free, and a nice coffee shop is on site.

Great free park, dogs loved it. Had a long walk among the many walks through the grounds. Didnt go in the house but made lovely backdrop for photos.
