Stopped in here for a bit of lunch after visiting the castle, it is a beautiful pub all dark wood and leather that only age brings. They have a nice selection of craft and cask beers as well as the better known lagers and stouts....More

Pleasant enough staff and the drinks were fine. A little on the small side as so many of these places now rely on the food trade. Seating a bit restricted but nice decor and better value than the pub down the road!!!!! See other review.

Lovely little bar on the Royal Mile, I'd definitely recommend it to anybody looking for a pit-stop en route to the castle etc! It's a great atmosphere of a night time too with a wide variety of drinks on offer

Surprised by some of the negative reviews about this place as we ate here several times whilst in Edinburgh, and enjoyed every visit. There can be a bit of a wait for a table upstairs (no reservations taken) but that's probably because the food is...More

that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the

È possibile prenotare un tavolo per una cena? Ho guardato sul sito ma non trovo una mail o un modo per farlo che non sia il numero di telefono. Grazie in anticipo viaggiatori ;)
