Richard provided us with a very informative and entertaining 3 hour tour which was well paced and covered the city's highlights. One we reason we chose this tour is because group size is limited to 10 and we certainly appreciated Richard's personalised and engaging approach....More

Our 3-hour walking tour with Richard Usher was a highlight of our time in Edinburgh. What a way to start off your vacation and time in this beautiful city! Richard's knowledge of architecture and history, as well as his humor, was enlightening and entertaining. We...More

We went to Edinburgh during the Tatoo and the Fringe Festival. Richard was able to navigate the back streets, provide excellent historical narrative and find a cafe that wasn't entirely swamped. He was funny and informative. Wonderful tour!

Excellent 3 hour walking tour around historical Edinburgh with only 8 of us on that particular one, so almost a personal tour., would highly recommend.

Good tour spiced with interesting stories. Stuart speaks an english easy to understand for non native speakers- not always the case in Scotland.

We booked this tour for our initial introduction to Edinburgh, based on the recommendation of two unrelated travel company Directors. WOW, were they ever spot on... No silly tour guides with off-topic comedy acts and juggling distractions, nor large groups. Richard was an absolute professional,...More

By far the best tour we had in Edinburgh. We learned a lot about Edinburgh's history in a very small and engaging tour. Special shout out to Richard who was an absolute delight. This tour made our trip extra special and memorable!

We took a 4 hour walking tour with Stuart Usher. Stuart was VERY knowledgeable with lots of neat facts and stories. We stopped for a quick refreshment at an establishment that knew our guide and took good care of us.

Prevailing winds meant that most cities that grew in

grand Georgian townhouses, private gardens and genteel
crescents. These backstreets remain as dignified and
