I stumbled upon this museum inside the Edinburgh Castle and it was fantastic! Very informative with wonderful displays of war artillery, uniforms and battle scenes.

I was amazed at how the Castle is a living thing. War memorial museum was created after WWI and continued through WWII.

This museum is amazing! I felt a bit of Scottish pride as I walked through. The display of the brave men who defend their country and died for it is truly humbling!

It's solemn, but really great history in here. Old books with military names and other fascinating history. Worth going to.

The national War museum is located in Edinburgh Castle, which is somehow appropriate given war is what Castles are ALL ABOUT.

This museum is inside the grounds of Edinburgh Castle. It is well-arranged by time periods and covers many centuries. There are hundreds of artifacts to view, many with little placards to read, although only dimly lit (so hard to read for us older people). Depending...More
