Your kids will like the chance to get close to--and frequently pet--a variety of farm animals. There's also a nice display of crop plants, and a small natural garden feature. And all to benefit a charity that works with developmentally disabled kids.

Enjoyed our day at the farm, lots of animals to see. Only thing that would have improved our visit would be if there was a microwave in the cafe to heat up our daughters lunch, we had to go to another cafe nearby to give...More

I've loved this place for years. I first brought my children here in a buggy and now my son helps out as a volunteer and I come here with groups of children on the tours. It's a great place to learn about animals, farming and...More

A excellent variety of farm animals, a lovely place to visit with friendly, knowledgeable staff and volunteers. The vegetable gardens are also very interesting for young children to see how their food is grown. Pet Corner is lovely with bearded dragons, tortoises and even a...More

Unique attraction/afternoon out close to the city centre. Wide selection of animals, including piglets when we visisted. Has the obligatory tractor and a small playground for under 7s. There was a group of young children being led by a volunteer to help out at feeding...More

My kids live visiting the farm. They don't have the longest attention spans so it's great to be able to move quickly from playground to animals to gardens to nature garden and we often do more than one circuit.

This was a cute little city farm, you can walk around it quite quickly. There was fun curly haired we hadn't seen before and many little piglets. However we felt like some of the animals could have used a bit more space and perhaps kept...More

Thank you for your review, and its great that you liked our curly haired pigs. They have become quite a feature recently. We're sorry that you thought our animals needed more space. Work hard to ensure animals are given the most appropriate space for their...More

Really love this place! Good selection of animals and my little girl has had so many close encounters with the animals such as being able to sit and hold the guinea pigs, Freda the tortoise, a week old chick and see a hedgehog up close....More

Lovely wee selection of animals, but the enclosures could be doing with being made a bit bigger, especially for all of the varieties of pigs, it just didn't seem like they had that much room to move about, made us a bit sad:( There is...More

Thanks for your review Keri, and glad to you enjoyed our selection of animals. We admit the play park is designed for smaller children due to the fact they are the largest age group, but we do run programmes through out the year for older...More

This little farm is good considering you only pay a donation. Don't expect to be there all day but certainly enough to pass a hour or so. If your kids are over the age of 7/8 I would look for alternatives but for the younger...More
