Recently took my aunt in the day Loch Ness tour. I've been in some english speaking tours with other companies myself and was surprised at how much is lost in translation with the spanish version of this tour. The place is gorgeous and mindblowingly beautiful in itself but the guide didn't add much to the experience. The bus was comfy... More

Took the Loch Ness tour which included Inverness. 12 hours but well worth the trip except to short a time to enjoy Inverness. Need to get rid of the Castle stop, not a real Castle it's a fort and in ruins at the side of the Loch. An extra half hour at Inverness and the other half hour spent by... More

My mum and I took the 1-day Loch Ness and Highlands tour with Guillermo, and we had the most enjoyable day. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and our day flew by with his outstanding storytelling skills! - I would fully recommend this tour to anyone who looks for a first approach to Scottish landscape and history in Spanish!

We took the Loch Ness and Highlands one day tour and it was a great experience. Several stops with enough time at the Loch Ness to take the boat. The storytelling was also amazing during the time we were in the bus. With lots of different stories including a great narration of the life of Mary Queen of Scots. Highly... More

For our city tour Nieves was our guide. Weather was cold but she made no stops. We walked the city north and south, east and west. Always having fun. She... More

Staying in Old Town

Neighbourhood Profile
Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the royal palace – two of Edinburgh’s great set-piece attractions. But there’s lots more exploring to do here down dozens of little alleys, or wynds, while at night the city’s busiest clubs erupt along the Cowgate which is closed to traffic for this purpose.
