Another traditional pub in Edinburgh’s old town, this one with a more Edwardian feel to it. We opted for Black Isle lager and sat in the window seat watching people walking up and down Cockburn Street.

Traditional Scottish pub with a nice atmosphere. Reasonable price. Large selection of whisky. Excellent position between the Royal mile and Waverley station.

Excellent host and great traditional food well prepared and hot, good selection of ales and spirits well placed off the the royal mile towards the station well worth a visit as the prices very reasonable also.
