There are shops to cover everyone's needs and many bars in the streets off Princess Street providing outside seating if you want to create your own atmosphere outside the bars. The bars open late and there is whisky galore!!

Take your wallet its spend spend spend yes its that type of street with the back drop of the castle, garden and monument these shops are in great contrast very modern and very inviting.
Easy to find familiar shops with teen interested in shopping. Plus some stay open very late which fills in part of the evening if shopping is enjoyed. The number of street people is dire straits distressing though.
