Yes that is a road and it does lead to the castle! A muddy and small car park however it's quiet as the site is hard to find and has no facilities or charges. Castle Morton has a nature trail and a few information boards...More

We live not far from here so have enjoyed the walk around this castle on many occasions, frequently extending our walk to the full nature trail which is a delight. A wonderful spot for photos too. Don't miss it.

The beauty and downfall of this place is its not particularly easy to find. Added to this is the walk thru rather long slippery grass to get to the castle. We could not find much history on this place but it stands on the hill,...More

this place should be advertised more as it is difficult to find. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and it unspoiled by civilisation

Hauntingly beautiful castle set in amazing scenery. An amazing building that has easy access well worth a visit only draw back is the single track road to get there

We had a short but very pleasant walk around Morton Castle, its hard to find if you're driving, but worth seeing. Wonderful view out over the man made loch, and the ruins are very brooding and atmospheric.

We were in Scotland for the day and I was keen to see a bit of the history, especially castles. The road up to the castle is very narrow and windy, be hesitant to go up if your car is very precious to you, or...More
