lovely chocolate on display and staff who went out of their way to advise on what was available. A water bowl and a selection of biscuits at the door for dogs is a nice touch

By chance, we stopped for a coffee and cake. Both were delicious. The place can be highly recommended. I am sure that all who visit will be happy with their choice.

I have been to Cocoa blacks previously for a hot drink and cake which was divine and following the show aired on BBC called The River, I learnt that they ran classes which I decided to try. I went along with a friend who lives in Peebles and we both thoroughly enjoyed the two hour class. It was very informative... More

This is our second time at one of Ruth's classes, the first at the new school. Again, could not fault it. Great fun and a bag full of treats at the end! Would highly recommend, it's a really fun way to spend an afternoon.

I gave this to my sister for a special birthday and it did not disappoint. Hard to believe we were there for two hours as the time went so quickly. We made three different kinds of truffles and tasted many varieties of chocolate including some with unusual flavours. Ruth and Chloe were lovely and created a friendly atmosphere. We would... More

You will feel like a child in a toy store when you enter Cocoa Black because you will want everything!! The cakes and chocolates are works of art, you feel guilty eating them but oh my are they so worth the endulgence. If your visiting Peebles then you have to visit Cocoa Black.
