This house, built and lived in by Sir Walter Scott, is beautiful and fascinating. Our guide, Nancy, was the best guide I’ve ever had on a visit to a historical house and her enthusiasm and wealth of information had us riveted.

The price for guests 60 and over is 10 Pounds instead of the normal 11.

Not sure, I was there for noon and it probably had been open a while; think it shut shop around 4-5pm; best check their website
