This is a very well presented and interesting attraction. I learnt a huge amount and the staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Walking in the grounds is very pleasant and visiting the house itself a window in time back to Sir Walter Scott's life.

Not sure, I was there for noon and it probably had been open a while; think it shut shop around 4-5pm; best check their website
