I’ve been to lots of brewdog bars and this is much like all the others. Good food and drink. You’ll get exactly what you’d expect.
We went for an evening meal last week.
They’re encouraging using the app to order - which is fine. But the time wait from order to getting a drink is ages. We must have been over 10 mins on at least two occasions
On balance I think the wait has put me off going again for a while

A nice place where to sit for a beer and some food to placate late-night hunger (well, back when we could do that...). Good selection of beer. Food comprises of a selection of burgers, chips, and other typical pub stuff, including some surprisingly tasty spicy chicken wings. Music is not too loud and allows for conversations without having to shout. It happened a few times that I sat in some tables that were right in front of the wide-open main door, with the cold Aberdeen wind hitting my back, which I found annoying.

Always a great bar to visit!
The staff are all super knowledgeable when it comes to beer and always happy to suggest something for you even if beer isn’t your normal tipple.

We had some voucher to use for the offer of a pizza and beers , we had our beers pretty quick but we received our pizzas over one hour later after complaining twice , the place was busy and why there was only 1 member of the staff? I put an extra star because the pizza was good

The Canadian barman is quite a character. I had the vegan pizza, a first for me. Meaty options are available but we need to save the planet sometime.
Interesting conversation with a director forum from OG UK... And a post-doc studying renewables and nuclear energy. Seems to be full of interesting people.

Good family friendly bar

Went to aberdeen with my family and was surprised at so many bars only letting you in with children if you are eating. Even of you are just having one pint as you and your child are waiting for your wife and mum to try on her latest outfit!!!!. Brewdog was totally different, children and animals are allowed and the selection of beers, lagers etc are awesome.

Excellent pizza, terrible service

Visited on 12/12/19. The food here is great, pizza is top notch! The service used to be quite good here, however they have a new bartender that is absolutely terrible. We waited 15 minutes to order with 4 people ahead of us (one who left out of frustration). I could completely deal with this as he is new; but he was so arrogant, unfriendly and untroubled (screwing around with people waiting for him to take orders). It’s unfortunate and don’t think we will be back until his ‘rock star’ career- which he thinks has begun already- begins and leaves and we can get a decent bartender. On the plus side, the lady making our pizzas was fantastic.

Come here with my friends in the weekend. Nice food and good service. The beers in range are nice and it is a good vibe. This is a only place you can have a wide choice of beers in aberdeen.

Great staff

Nice food, good atmosphere and welcomed my dog so well! I have a bit of an annoying dog in that he won't leave people alone because he just loves getting claps and loves being around people, he got loose a couple of times and wondered where he shouldn't have. The staff handled it very well and were so kind about it! The food is a bit expensive but you come away full and satisfied so I guess I don't grudge paying their prices! Will definitely be back.

All sell roughly the same beer generally. Castlegate and Union have a bigger food choice. We preferred the one at Gallowgate for drinks, a bit quieter than Castlegte. Not been to Union as it’s just opened.
