I believe it is the biggest granite building in Aberdeen. Awesome in size and you must go and visit the quadrangle inside. Lots of fine angle to take pictures with.

This was originally Aberdeen’s second university which then merged with Aberdeen uni who then moved everything not long ago to their current campus. The building is now used by the council. You can walk in to the courtyard and it is stunning to walk around...More

I used to attend university lectures here as well as occasional dances and although the building nw houses council offices it is still worth while having a walk round the courtyard.

Magnificent granite building, a gorgeous example of Victorian Gothic Revival Architecture. This is the second largest granite building in the world! Absolutely stunning, all those gothic pinnacles, towers and arches. Sadly, not much photo opportunities due to ongoing construction in Marischal square.

I visited Marischal College with my cat on 26 March 2018. This place is the Council office for Aberdeen City. It looks nice from outside. I would not reccommend Marischal College for anyone visiting Aberdeen.

Aberdeen is know for its granite and that's best enjoyed on a sunny day. Marischal College is a fine example of architecture and grandeur. Have a wander in the courtyard and enjoy the shimmering of the granite. Not to be visited on a dreich day!
