Busy harbour with the ships from oil/gas rigs coming & going, we did not see any Dolphins on day but am told they are frequent visitors.

If you like looking at the supply boats that supply the rigs you can see them al here, some areas are out of bounds for safety reasons heavy lifts by cranes, not much parking areas and smells of diesel

Quay side walks with local pubs and cafes and plenty of seagulls. A lot of oil field boats and supply vessels in the harbour.

There were many huge vessels in the harbour at the time of my visit. Despite the commerical, industrial and maritime history of Aberdeen, it was conveniently located and interesting.

The harbour is an active harbour and not easy to gain access. Walking around the area you see a lot of historic building.
