This may not be a large church or a highly decorated church but it feels a warm and welcoming size. Unlike St Columb's Cathedral there is no suggestion as to what visitors might donate but while I followed the Cathedrals guide I doubled that here, because it felt right!

We did a tour one day in Derry, listening to the history of the Troubles and seeing the wall. We were saddened by the history and saw that there were deep divisions still in the City. We decided to go to services on Sunday morning at St. Augustine's to see how it compared with our Episcopal services in the US.... More

Located at the famous walls of Derry, this Church has a lot of history for anyone interested in the city's history. The building and stained glass windows are well worth a visit

Although this is a small church it's well worth a visit. It has a fascinating and ancient history going back to the time of St Columba, The volunteers working there are very helpful and informative. It's a beautiful little church with a lovely peaceful atmosphere.

This church and its cemetery grounds are located within the Walled City. As you walk atop the wall from Market Street Gate, make sure you stop here, read about it, and go on the grounds and into the Church!! To the left of the entrance to the church there is a layout of the burial grounds. Unbelievable! The interior has... More

Lovely church, as was Florence the lovely lady at the door who pointed out some of the features. Pop in as it is easily accessed from the walls. The graveyard area is very peaceful as is the church. Lovely stained glass windows.

This very old but lovely church is actually accessed from the city walls and is well worth a stop over for a rest if your feet are sore and you need a bit of calmness. Helpful guides and old churchyard worth a stroll
