Our walking tour of Derry with Garvin was amazing. Learned so much about the conflicts and the peace of the future. Seen a lot of a beautiful city and truely moved by the experience. Thank you Garvin!

We did the tour with John, enjoyed every minute! Tour is about 1 hour and a bit, which is enough to get a good impression. After the tour we visited places John pointed out to us. We loved it!

The entire family appreciated this walking tour with a knowledgeable and entertaining guide. It gave us a deeper insight in the background and development of the troubles between protestants and catholics. It was also a great way to identify points of interests to visit after...More

We toured Friday morning before returning to Belfast for a football game. This was an interesting way to spend an hour on the Walls with a guide. I thought our guides views were slightly one sided. He was very informative and the walk is great...More

We went on the Martin McCrossan tour around the city walls; the tour was excellent value at 4 pounds a head, lasted an hour and a quarter, and the vantage points along the walls gave our guide Garvin (more of him later) an excellent vehicle...More

Included as part of a two week bus tour of Ireland. The tour guide was very entertaining and knew a lot about Derry City. The only downside to the tour was that it was extremely short. That was most likely a function of our bus...More

A terrific walking tour of the walls of Derry was informative and well presented. Host Tony gave a great potted history of "recent history" from "The siege" to "The troubles" and the highlights of the parts of the city as we walked. All that and...More

There is no need to precook the tour. Just show up. They run every 2 hours (at 10, 12, 2, and 4). Meet at 11 Carlisle Road which is right outside of the Foyleside Shopping mall. You will love it. Enjoy!
