Had never heard of this museum before we visited. The Laurentic and Spanish Armada exhibitions were very good. The history of Derry one is a more static feature and is informative too. Admission is reasonably priced and I would visit again

We visited here one afternoon while visiting Derry. I found this museum interesting and liked how it wasn't too crowded.

This museum looks small, but it is full of information. Worthwhile information! We caught ourselves reading almost everything there, but of course you can go thru quicker if you would like. The museum has to be one of the most informative in Ireland. It takes...More

My goodness, I'm not sure I've ever taken in so much information in such a relatively small space. This museum is jam-packed with history... pre-history through the present! There was a special exhibit on the SS Laurentic which was very interesting, plus the Armada exhibit,...More

Loads of parking within a short distance of the Tower Museum. We had parked in our hotel car park. Most points of interest are within walking distance of each other. It depends on your fitness to walk.
