Stunning waterway just before downpatrick perfect in the summer for a picnic with tables available to sit on and a great stop in the winter for a coffee if out on the bike.

There are stunning views from the Castle Island hide. With the Mountains of Mourne as a backdrop, the views are almost coincidental - but that is not the case, there are many species to be seen here.

The Quoile is a beautiful lake side walk - incredibly peaceful with amazing views. Swans, ducks and dog walkers will join you otherwise this is a great place to get away from it all.

Lovely wetlands with swans, ducks, bird life. Path along the waterside with willow bending over rippling water. Natural planting, and game of thrones place too - they left a little pier out into the water-feed swans and seagulls here. Peaceful, safe, many families come with...More
