A party of us went for the 1 hr trek with members of the party (12 in all) ranging in age from 6 years old to 50 and all were really well accommodated for. Everyone had a great time. I cant compliment the excellent staff enough, with them and the beautiful location I would highly recommend this to anyone. Thank... More

Well kept facilities and beautiful horses!! We went on the 1 hour trek, I got Sally who was a complete angel and I couldn't fault her! My uncle got Guinness who seemed lazy to begin with but we soon realised can respond quickly to commands and is eager to please. Our trek was beautiful and very picturesque, we will definitely... went this morning on the 2 hour track, was really fun and the staff are really friendly especially Emma. We done a variety of things including ways, trot and canter. The yard was very clean and tidy and the horses in great condition, will definitely be coming back soon.

I went on the 2 hour experienced hack which takes place every Saturday & Sunday morning. It cost £38 per person. The guide was lovely & very friendly, My horse Sally was great!! Could've taken her home but a few of the other horses were spooky (Nan especially) I personally would have felt scared to ride her as I'm only... More

Thank you for your comments. Im glad you enjoyed your trek and got on well with Sally! During the summer months (when it is busier) we are unable to work the horses as much on our experienced treks. Generally coming into low season our experienced sessions involve more cantering. We hope to see you again soon. More

Went here recently- We were with several children who were being lead around in front. Horses walked very slowly in single file, clearly just used to the routine, so boring. We weren't allowed or even asked if we wanted to be held back to trot etc given that I had filled in a form to say we had both done... More

Thank you for feedback on your experiences. The trek that you were on was a beginners trail. We do also offer experienced hacks. I apologise that in this instance, you had been booked onto a trek that did not match your abilities and therefore was clearly not enjoyable. This should not have happened (and doesn't usually) however, we are reviewing... More

We went on an hour long trail which cost us £20 each. We both have ridden horses before. For the hour we did nothing but walk through the woods. It seems like our experience stated on the forms was ignored. The staff was unwelcoming and seemed like they were not enjoying their job. They certainly didn't make any effort with... More

My son and grand daughters went Pony Trekking yesterday afternoon and really enjoyed it. When saying their prayers they thanked Max and Sally (the horses) for being so good. Great fun

Been here on numerous occasions. They put on a 2hr ride every saturday and sunday morning for advanced riders. Cantering through the stunning scenery really is amazing. They have horses to suit all riders whether you prefer a nice steady horse or one with a bit more bounce. The staff are so nice and always up for a bit of banter.... More

We booked a party of 6 to celebrate a double birthday and a wedding anniversary. We had travelled from the North East of England to meet with Irish friends and wanted to try something different!
