The Center interactive exhibitions offers truly amazing insights into the Iron Age history of the area. The rather lengthy walk to and around the Fort itself is definitely worth the effort. The view from the mound are an added attraction.

A very interesting place to visit - either take the guided walk as part of your ticket price at the Museum or go on a wander yourself and read the story boards - a great view of the area from the top of the hill

The Navan Fort centre is poor, let's be honest, but Navan Fort itself is fantastically good at being a hill with a wonderful view and an odd , obscure history onto which you can project your fantasies of the past. Cuchullain, if he ever existed,...More
