About
Weekly on Sunday at noon. Images of Belfast's paramilitary walls have flashed across TV screens worldwide for decades. But now a new mural tradition is emerging centred around the Cathedral Quarter. This 2hr walking tour, devised & led by local artists, will give you the inside story on the ever changing face of contemporary street art in Belfast & tell the story of the walls that bring people together not keep them apart.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great tour! Very interesting with loads of info, behind the scenes’ secrets and impressive art. Our guide was very passionate about the subject as he is part of the scene himself. Two hours just flew by and we didn’t even see everything. Highly recommend!

Street artist, Verz (Tim), gave a brilliant and positive tour of Belfast city from a street art perspective. He mixed the art history in with the city history in a very informed way. A fantastic tour... I'd highly recommend for locals and visitors to Belfast.

What an amazing find! Belfast is one of these unique cities where the walls are a canvas and the City an open-air Gallery. Our tour was conducted by local artist WeeNull her passion and love for both the art pieces but also the evolution and approach of the street art fair the complicated relationships between graffiti and street art artists, the charities and the progress made in recent years added an extra level of awe and appreciation of the great art. The story of her defaced art and how she bounced back and the meaning behind WeeNulls work were also inspirational.

Well after today, I have certainly changed my opinion on street art and artists. Being of the older generation, my former opinion was based on youngsters having to much spare time, an aerosol paint spray or three and little talent. Ray’s very enthusiastic and informative tour is a must for anyone visiting Belfast. The artwork, the time ,effort and research undertaking by the artists is astonishing and the finished articles are just amazing. Well done to everyone involved. Thank you Ray for a very enjoyable 2 hour trip.

This was a very interesting tour with our guide and a skilled painter "Verz" as well as our wellbeing adviser from Queen's University Belfast (QUB), to see the street art in Belfast city centre. It was a chance to notice to all those emotions and colours used in the street art and open a new window in life.
100% recommend.

Participated in the Street art walking tour today.

The walk was led by Tim, a street artist himself. Great knowledge and also good craic.
Was good to hear about the various artists and their style of creating art.

Tour lasted just over 2 hours. I would definitely recommend this very informative tour.

I have to admit that I was never an avid art enthusiast, least of all when that art is painted on walls with a spray can, so had reservations about attending this event… but it was nothing short of fabulous! I have walked these streets a thousand times and never noticed the artwork, which now seems incredible to me as the pieces of art are so stunning. Tim was a fantastic guide- not only was he friendly and welcoming but his knowledge of the artists, the techniques and the hidden meanings behind the artwork was fascinating. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough and will definitely be bringing my friends and family along next time.

This has been running for a few years and I've always been interested in attending but hadn't got round to it until now.

Tim the tour guide took us round the Cathedral Quarrter, Kent Street and a variety of other spots around the city centre for just over two hours. Tim is a street artist himself who has been involved with the scene for many years and he was full of knowledge about the local and international artists who have visited Belfast in recent years.

The art we viewed and visited was superb and Tim was a great host. All of us in the group agreed that we'd love to do the tour again sometime.

This is a great way to get you out of your bed and slightly active on a Sunday, the two hours flew past between checking out the art and talking about the street art scene in Ireland.

Highly recommended.

Was a filthy Sunday, and in two minds if a walking tour was the wisest of decisions, but brolly in hand, we set off for a Belfast graffiti tour. Ray aka FGB, was our guide. We got to discover a world where walls are not to keep people apart, but to bring people and ideas together. Ray is a talker, but brought the history and symbolism and meanings behind the art to life. Would wholeheartedly recommend this walk; even if the weather is 'changeable'.

Very enjoyable morning which I would highly recommend. Tim is an excellent guide. His knowledge and enthusiasm really added to the experience. On the many occasions I have walked through Belfast I had never taken the time to look at the fabulous Art around me. I will certainly be more aware from now on.
