St. George’s market was among our favorite stops on a recent visit to Belfast. It is a classic, high quality, urban “farmers market”... but a lot more. The vendors range from fresh produce, meats and cheeses to coffee and tea to prepared foods to arts...More

Closed most of the week, the market opens on Fridays where it sells food and non-food items. If in Belfast, you need to visit on a Saturday or Sunday when it's at its best. It was OK. Worth passing through if in the area but...More

Wonderful place, if a little over crowded. Lots of stalls to browse, really enjoyed the live music. There are plenty of food stalls, including my new favourite Spanish dish, cooked in a Parmesan.( who cares about calories). Lots of art work, really pleasant way to...More

Quite lively but not a patch on the English Market in Cork City. Wanted to eat in the upstairs cafe but unfortunately they only did a full three course menu which was disappointing

There are a number of stalls selling cooked food so I’m confident you will find some selling seafood. There is a range of multi-story car parks close to St George's Market including: Waterfront Hilton; Lanyon Place; and... More

No there is no charge to enter, but you will be tempted to buy inside. It really is a nice way to spend some time.
