Oct 2020
Go here every couple of months on a Saturday for lunch. Very good of late. Visited Saturday 10th Oct for lunch. Good customer service. Nice setting. Socially distant. Good menu. Lovely food. Well presented. Definitely go back. Ordered the Thai Curry.

We met friends here for lunch at their recommendation. They were right! The staff were welcoming, friendly, bi-lingual and interested. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced.
We had time to browse in the shop which is connected to the restaurant and I found a beautiful brass door knocker in a Claddagh Ring Design. It’s the envy of my American friends.
Definitely recommend this restaurant. The only drawback was parking but we parked in a nearby street.

What a beautiful building with a lovely café /restaurant and a shop next to it for people interested in Irish language and culture.
Ordered the California chicken burger and it was incredibly tasty with the sauce! The salad was great, too, as it was a mix of greens, roast vegetables and olives! The skinny fries were very good, too, as they were the thin cut chips but with the skin on. We got the brownie with marshmallow and the raspberry roulade as dessert, the raspberry roulade especially was exceptional! Definitely visit! An-bhlasta!!!!

This place is a cafe, bookshop (in Irish and English) and small gallery all in one. The menu was in english and irish and the food was very good including the vegetarian options. It was great to hear the customers speaking as gaeilge. They have a fantastic selection of kids books in Irish and some wonderful paintings. The building was a church and is on the famous falls road.

Innovative and Interesting

The Culturlann has a nice cafe which serves well cooked meals and snacks. It is usually very busy at meal times but a great place for a quiet chat with friends over a coffee and snack. Although it is a Gaelic speaking establishment all are welcome and there is no sense of Gaelic being forced on anyone. During the West Belfast Festival in August it is full of visitors of all nationalities. It's a great experience.
