The building and location are very nice, but don't expect a museum or historical visit. This location is mostly used for events. The interior has chairs and tables that are lined again may walls and so interior photos are not something you can expect. Outside...More

Service was ok from friendly, if poorly trained, staff. That's all the good news, and the reason I gave it 2 stars. The food was 1 star. Soup starter was ok'ish. But one of the bowls was badly chipped along the rim and no self...More

As I was on limited time, I only had the opportunity to look around the gardens and have a quick nip inside the castle. A beautiful building with a stunning location looking over the city, it's certainly worth checking out if you have a spare...More

Belfast Castle is set in very nice grounds and is generally very well kept but the cafe in the cellar is terrible. For such a beautiful old building the cellar lacks any character or atmosphere and the staff far from make up for it, they...More

Went with a friend for the afternoon tea in the castle restaurant. Although the service was friendly we thought the effort made for the afternoon tea spread was quite disappointing. The finger sandwiches were uninteresting and sparce. Scones were nice and the cakes on the...More

A view , a garden , a restaurant and place for a fantastic wedding venue. Find the nine cats in the garden. The rooms are not ostentatious but large and accommodating. I did not have a tour guide but I think it was ok,

This castle was gorgeous! The grounds are covered with flowers and the view of the city and ocean are superb! The castle is a wedding venue and one can see why with the gorgeous scenery which is stunning for pictures!

The castle is owned by the city council. it's not the kind of castle that has an outdoor courtyard and loads of defence features it's more similar to a stately home with a turret style look. It is very pretty and they hire out rooms...More

We loved our visit to the Belfast castle. The view was amazing. I know that the beautiful blue sky and perfect weather played a big part in our experience. We had a coffee and sat at the little table taking in the view. Janet, Australia.

Hey there, went this March. The castle is free not a great deal to do there but the outside gardens are pretty lush. You can climb/hike around the uphill trails (various ones for different views and fitness levels! Haha. You... More

the castle and grounds are free but the castle is limited to bar and restaurant. There is a small shop with unusual gifts. The view from top is amazing
