Our Guide gave us a historical view point from both sides . Very real and a history made alive . Saw the HQ and the statues and the houses and plaques .

This was very interesting when we visited as part of the hop on hop off bus tour of Belfast. Having seen pictures of the Falls Road years ago when it was on the tv after the latest bombing, I'm not sure what I was expecting...More

Falls Road is synonmous with the Troubles, but nowadays it's just a thriving road in Belfast. There are murals to see and memorials, but you can do this easily from a bus tour. You get the feel for how it could have been, but to...More

The Falls Road is a part of the social history of Belfast that should be visited if your interested in exploring areas related to the "Troubles," While the murals have obviously been updated they nonetheless evoke a not so distant past.

A thought provoking place which brought a feeling of the deep problems and sadness this city has suffered from in the past.

A moderately progressing area. A haven for tourists are the Peace Walls and murals depicting different stages of Irish history before and throughout 'the troubles' era in the north of Ireland. A few bars and local restaurants exist along the length of tHe Falls Road,...More

I got one of the city sightseeing buses - £10 and you can hop on and off for 72 hours. It's not that far to walk from city centre either.
