• Tries to cover too much in too little space. • Difficult to orientate oneself in the space and the map provided just confuses. • Time eras in the networks/communications gallery too compressed together, failing to give a sense of the time spans over which...More

A lovely well presented and informative modern museum. One or two of the interactive displays didn’t function for us. This is a must for anybody with an interest in the Industrial revolution and the contribution made by Wales and it’s people

Staff were welcoming and helpful, free entry car park 50 yards away reasonable for city centre at £1 an hour. You will need at least 2 hours to see the museum. Very informative, lots of visual aids and Tec to keep you interested and allow...More

There were some interesting displays in the museum but sometimes the disply boards did not explain things as fully as I would have liked. Considering its location on the marina the marine section was quite small. I only had a short visit and there was...More

Big congratulations to Swansea university and the national waterfront museum for hosting this event. So glad we attended it. We all learnt lots and it was so much fun for the children and all absolutely free.

Very interesting place to visit. Plenty to interest the whole family. No charge for entry but there is a place to leave donations if you wish. Ideal place to go if the weather is inclement. Which it sometimes is in South Wales.

Quite an interesting place to visit, and the surrounding areas, with Dylan thomas and the Museum itself.

Excellent, well laid out with freindly staff. Not too large so as too get lost in too many exhibits but enough to get a real appreciation of Swansea maritime history. Lots of interactive screens and would imagine great for children.

First time here, but I didn’t think it was great. Ok for a wander around. It was free entry though which was good and you can get a good cup of coffee.
