"Camping?"

We went camping and the rain dampened the mood. it did brighten up but after looking around we were disappointed to say the least. When we arrived, the cabin for washing up had... read more

The cottage was very warm and cosy and the beds were comfortable. There was a nice view of the city and they had provided us with all the food we needed. We went on a beach ride with them which we enjoyed and the views were great. The general layout of the cottage was well done and meant that we... More

Firstly - I have to say that I stayed at Clyne Farm back in 2009 and it was lovely. Lovely enough that on my trip this September, I booked our rooms in the spring so as to ensure that we would stay in the same cottage. The staff was good to work with through the booking process and was patient... More

Our daughter had her 7th birthday party here and loved every minute. She was made to feel very special during the pony ride yet all her friends had a great time getting involved too. They all enjoyed the food after all the outdoor fun. On leaving, the birthday girl said "can we come here for my party next year too?"... More

I'm not one for complaining but our stay here in one of the "cottages" was terrible at best. The farm is located at the top of a housing estate, we thought we had set the sat nav wrong at first! The communal areas were very poorly looked after, dirty and dingy, as if they hadn't been used for years! Our... More

We went camping and the rain dampened the mood. it did brighten up but after looking around we were disappointed to say the least. When we arrived, the cabin for washing up had no hot water and was filthy. To the point I ended up going to the local shop to pick up cleaning products (OCD). The camping showers to... More

I took my little 3 yr old boy horse riding yesterday, for a walk, and they were wonderful. He was a little bit nervous at first, wouldn't put his hat on etc. But the girl who took him, Victoria, was so friendly and patient after approx 15 min he accepted. While walking one off their horses was walking back without... More

On Wednesday, I went for a one hour woods hack from Clyne Farm which overlooks Swansea Bay. Stable manager Tasha was very efficient and friendly, quickly assessing my riding ability and what I wanted to do and matching me with a lovely Piebald horse known as Warrior. I was on my own and expecting to have others join me, but... More

Stayed here for two nights camping. Booked for woodland camping but the ended up in a boggy field because the woodlands are too far from the facilities, don't really know why woodland camping is a option. Facilities were very poor and unclean, no hot water in either the toilets or the washing up area all weekend. Camping fields also very... More

We stayed at Clyne Farm for three nights. During this time, there was a day where there was no hot water, due to electrical faults, and two nights where we were kept awake until 3am by a group of stags. We were told that the campsite does not accept groups and has a zero tolerance policy for nightime noise, but... More

Ok- campsites can be muddy as their email address reminds us. I'm no camping virgin. BUT- we don't need: overgrown camping field , utterly squalid toilets and washing facilities ( wish I could find my pictures - look like are never cleaned) , outhouse to wash up with " hot water" that took around 20 minutes at a dribble to...
