The welsh coastline is incredible but in my eyes the Gower Peninsular tops it. The variety of beaches, castles, walks, surfing, wrecks and lighthouses is quite spectacular.

My parents moved here a few years ago and now we visit as often as we can. Beautiful deserted beaches, walks and restaurants all on our doorstep. Love it and can't recommend it enough to other families.

Athe mumbles is a lovely seaside town complete with pier and fantastic life boat station. The local shops are charming and mainly independently run,and include a butcher, fishmongers and green grocers. Copperfish is the best fish and chips we have had in a long time!!

Sweeping coastline, gorgeous views, stunning scenery. A true gem in Wales! We visited Rhossilli, Port Eynon & Oxwich Bay. The weather held off but no sunshine, even so it was still incredibly beautiful!

Lovely area with extensive foot and cycle paths. The beaches are very popular at weekends for kite and windsurfing. Fabulous views. Try the visitor centre at Llanelli
