A great Sunday morning walk!

Our first chance to really look at the beach after 3 visits to the area. Coming from Cornwall where we are spoilt for beaches, I didn't have my expectations set very high. I was... read more

This is a nice beach but be careful not to go to far out into the water. You'll end up sinking down into some black ooze. It cover you in black slush and it doesn't come off easy. Great for picnics or just playing games.

Long walks on the beach or paved path, or bike it, its incredibly beautiful and relaxing here. when the tide is out, you can walk for miles on the seabed, pick up seashells or just find a cozy spot to sit and rest. There are many places for coffee, food and hanging out. This area is a gem.

Many happy days spent on Swansea bay with an expanse of sand from Swansea marina to mumbles which is roughly three miles.the tide goes out a long long way and as children we used to call the wet sand grannies custard because your feet just sink into it.there are san dunes at the guildhall and Marriott hotel end ,and a... Our first chance to really look at the beach after 3 visits to the area. Coming from Cornwall where we are spoilt for beaches, I didn't have my expectations set very high. I was however pleasantly surprised. Putting the distant view of Port Talbot to the back of ones mind, we walked from the university up to Junction Café. The... More

This is going to be short and sweet. This is a great beach but if you are in the middle somewhere there are no facilities whatsoever (as stated by the footballer Rio Ferdinand). No toilets. No bars. No ice cream parlours. Nothing. So people use it as a healthy walk rather than somewhere to spend a day or a good... More

Friend had wedding photos taken on the beach, they were the best photos out of the lot, showing the dunes and grasses along with the ocean in the background. The beach was so pretty and clean.

We visited this part of the coastline on a pleasant October weekend, and it was still busy with a lot of visitors and locals. We could see across to North Devon from more than one location. Some of the beaches are nicer than others, and it may be worth a trip further down the Gower peninsula to find the best... More

Absolutely gorgeous beach, views, boardwalk....I could spend hours there every day! The boardwalk is separated by a line to keep bikers and walkers safely on their own side of the path. Breathtaking views.

Swansea Beach has lovely views of Swansea Bay...and on a clear day, you can see England! Easy to get to, take the dog in off season, lovely stroll for family, friends, couples or solo!
