True story, we got lost in finding this place! So word of warning, it's not in the Clyne Valley Park. The entrance is located by passing the pub called 'Woodman'. Just walk in, no entry fee as my partner knew the gardens is open 24/7. Of course our trip started off being lost, we just happen to find the back... More

This is one great park. You can keep to the grass slopes covered in lovely trees and flower beds or wander down into a majestic valley. In May the Rhododendrons and azaleas are brilliant. Plants border streams and makes the visit well worth the trip. Great for dogs and kids.

Not quite so exuberant this year (2017), probably due to the unusually mild and dry early Spring, so some species seem to have flowered early and gone over. Nonetheless it is as ever a beautiful garden-cum-arboretum, ideal for a gentle stroll or energetic walk on surfaced paths (with unpaved options) in colourful surroundings of rhodedendrons and azaleas of every hue,... A very enjoyable visit (22nd April) to these beautiful gardens on a lovely dry sunny Spring day. The gardens has a superb collection of Rhododendrons, Pieris and Enkianthus and this is the best time of year to see them during “Clyne in Bloom”. The gardens have very steep paths and may be a challenge for some less agile visitors but... More

My wife and I very much enjoyed strolling through Clyne gardens this week. The colours of the early Rhododendrons and Azaleas were beautiful. There are plenty of shrubs and trees to see and surprisingly there is no entry fee.

Clyne is worth visiting throughout the year, but spring is the best time. There are rhododendrons and azaleas in profusion, as well as many unusual trees. The only downside is people and their ruddy dogs.

Late April and May are the best times to visit Clyne Gardens for stunning displays of rhododendrons. Originally established by local industrialists and amateur botanists, the Vivian family, this park has long been in the excellent care of Swansea Council. During the summer months there is usually a band in the park also, with a marquee for refreshments. Clyne is... More

These gardens are a must if visiting the Gower, Swansea or Mumbles. Bequeathed to the city many years ago they are a source of inspiration to gardeners everywhere. They not only have an abundance of flora and fauna but the views from the top of the gardens is spectacular. You can see the entire Swansea bay with views over to... More
