A modern “square” (it’s round) with seating and a strange massive screen with associated sounds coming out of what look like air vents for an underground system. Overlooked by the Castle ruins, but more noticeably by the typically brutalist BT building, the main source of...More

Pretty much the focal point of the city - Wind Street, with its many bars and restaurants is a stones throw away. Also close to Oxford Street and The Quadrant if you are looking to do a bit of shopping. Yes ic can be busy...More

If you visit in the day its mostly surrounded by youths who for some reason like to hang outside mcdonalds all day, if you visit in the night, its a square for the drunks.

On a nice day in the Summer you can sit there and watch a band. On dreary days, and there are plenty there, you just rush through it to get somewhere else as the fountain is full of rubbish and gangs of kids are hanging...More

This place is truly awful. Yes, you have a water feature - big deal! It should be a redeeming feature, but it really isn't. It could look good. But unfortunately it doesn't . Also very often there is rubbish in the water which just looks...More

Beautiful place, friendly and amazing ruins as well as water features centres in the square itself. Shop assistants were very polite and helpful, bar strip with clean and well attended staff, market close by and plenty shops of all varieties. Very enjoyable visit.
