Thanks so much for the great review, especially the acoustics observation! It may come as a surprise but the Guildhall has undergone 5 very extensive restoration phases in recent years, including the Brangwyn Hall. Improvements are ongoing in line with CADW Grade 1 listing approval.

Hi there as a member of staff at the guildhall have attended Xmas dos for many a year which have always been fab but really franks is fab for a quick breakfast deal of toast and hot chocolate to wake me up in the mornings...More

Had a great prom in there one year. Fun to walk around in. They've filmed Doctor Who in there. Very hot for Awards evenings.

The Westbourne is just a short walk from the brangwyn it's a pub or the Patti is a lovely Indian restaurant close by
