Unlike Westminster Abbey or St. Paul's Cathedral in London, Llandaff Cathedral is not a tourist destination as such. Nor does it promote itself as one. It is a religious establishment of local and regional importance, and as for the building, it is basically a large...More

I ran here and the Cathedral was a nice focal point for my run. It isn't in the league of Lincoln or York Minster in terms of its size or architecture but it's a lovely medieval cathedral in a beautiful area. Good to look at...More

Located a couple of miles outside of Cardff on the River Taff is this medieval cathedral. Restored after suffering bomb damage in WWII the cathedral was reopened in 1957. Really nice interior.

Llandaff Cathedral is a striking sight. I work in Llandaff, so I walked down to the area when I first started and was impressed by the stunning architecture of the cathedral. Llandaff as a whole is a lovely place, and the cathedral really adds to...More

We were greeted by a cheery face and given a potted history of the 12th century cathedral. The 40 minute walk from the town centre through beautiful Bute park was certainly no hardship but this lovely cathedral is well worth making an effort to find....More

Llandaff cathedral is great in that it is a historical building with some great old features that is still actively being used as a church, and unlike some churches in the UK (cough: I'm looking at you St. Paul's) it doesn't charge you an entry...More
