The Heritage Coastline runs from Ogmore by Sea to Penarth, west of Cardiff. The coastal path along cliffs, dunes and beaches is awe inspiring. Places along the coast include St Donats Castle, once owned by Randolph Hearst, Nash Point Lighthouse, Llantwit Major with St Illtud's Church founded in 500AD and believed to be Britain's first centre of learning which includes... This attraction is well worth a visit. Some of the coves are steep in places and a litle dificult to get to so care should be taken. I feel that the car parking fees a little on the high side and a slight reduction could help improve visitor numbers.

The coast is outstanding. The rock formations are beautiful. Very surprised of what is going on in the vale of Glamorgan. It was more upmarket than expected with some great places to eat. The costal path is really good.

Why not spend the day visiting multiple bays along the heritage coastline.Fantastic rock formations give this area a real character. End the day at Ogmore and watch the sun go down for a truly spiritual experience.

There is so much along this coastline to excite. Rock formations, woodland trails, hidden gardens, fields of wild flowers and butterflies, little churches, secluded beaches you can only walk to or flat beaches child friendly and accessible. A great place to explore
