Science is amazing! Experience over 65 hands-on interactive exhibits, live science demos and fun workshops at Techniquest Glyndwr (TQG), the family-friendly all weather day out you've been looking for! TQG Discovery Centre is designed to engage people of all ages in science through interactive exhibits and live demonstrations. As well as hands-on exhibits, we host a unique programme of special events throughout the year, covering a variety of topics such as space, slime, dinosaurs and robots! Free car parking at the centre located on Glyndwr University campus - just 10 minutes' walk from Wrexham General Station. You are welcome to bring your own picnic meals to enjoy in our centre either in our indoor cafe area or in our various outdoor picnic areas including our interesting Science Garden.

A nice place but a bit expensive for just 2 rooms. Can get a bit boring as there is not much to do for the children. We only spent 40 minutes in there.More

Great place to go lots of interactive things to do with a science theme I think it's only really up to 11 years It's fun with learning it's clean quiet lots of helpful staff A small gift shop area not expensive Outdoor and indoor places...More

Found it quite pleasant, Helpful Staff set was very good , parking was ok as well..Don't think it's for over 16s tho. But well worth a visit

Small, Expensive (£22.90 for a family of 5), really only 2 rooms (no matter how they describe the 'zones'. About 1/4 the size of the (free) area in Manchester Science Museum.More

Hi Chris Apologies for the delayed response. As stated previously, children aged 3 and under enjoy free entry to the centre (apart from Toddler Days, where the adult goes free!). Kind regards Nikki

Techniquest Glyndwr is aimed at all ages since there are over 70 interactive exhibits that will challenge even adults! That said, our live science shows are aimed mostly at the 6 - 12 year old bracket which is the majority... More
