The visits are timed and you are expected to be there 10 minutes before you go into the theatre for the first part of the visit. The bus then takes you into the mountain. We stopped twice and although the engineering is on a massive...More

For somewhere that is supposed to be hot on security this place is a total shambles. We arrived at about 10 am and booked for the 11.30 tour, the girl with the clipbard taking names and numbers in the party as they can only take...More

The centre itself acts as the tourist information site for the area and has the usual leaflets available but no bus timetables. There is an interesting free film to watch of a helicopter ride over the area, an upstairs exhibition and gallery area as well...More

It’s been over a decade since we last took the tour, and since then we’ve had two kids. Anyone who is interested in technology, engineering or science will love this experience. And I think it will also appeal to loads more people too. The facts...More

I don't believe this bus ride gives visitors a good experience or educational value you'd expect from an hydro-power electric power plant. You hardly get to see anything inside apart from two stops where you get down to see the throttle that turns a turbine...More

There isn't much walking involved as your on a bus tour. You can get off & walk up to a platform with a few steps to see but you don't have to do it. I'm sure you'll be fine.
