wow, done this place on the off chance on the way back from Hollyhead, what a place, I was absolutely in awe at what this place is. Taking a bus ride into the mountain going down deep in the bellows of the ground to see what man has constructed here is mjnd blowing....absolutely loved it...so interesting... a must to see... Not for everyone but if you are interested in technology or nature, then this is well worth a visit. Not really for the little ones but you can take them. No phones or cameras allowed on the tour as it is a working power station.

Visiting the local area with a friend from out of the country. We booked on the morning by phone to make sure we could get the time we wanted. The tour was excellent, with informative facts and history from our guide and the videos we were shown. Being so close to the turbines while they were generating electricity was awe-inspiring.... The tour was very informative, the power station is very unique. Understanding how the station works is an eye opener. The tour is suitable for all ages and is also fun as well as a learning experience.

We have wanted to visited the Electric Mountain for a long time. What an amazing idea to house an hydro electric plant inside the mountain. The staff were very helpful and friendly and very informative. Our only disappointment was that some maintenance in certain areas was being carried out which we felt restricted us to what we saw.
