We didn't intend to take the railway, but had to wait in the town for our motorhome to be repaired. We are glad we did, great views and the train stopped on the way back where the driver explained to those who were interested about...More

There is not much to say about the railway, as it is just that. But it was a good railway that allows 🐶 but is quite expensive. The journey takes 30-40 mins each way with 3 stops on the way back. Takes you around some...More

I'd highly recommend this lovely little railway that runs along the length of Llanberis lake. Great for small kids, stunning scenery for the adults to absorb, friendly staff and great little cafe. The slate museum next door was very good as well.

We wanted to go on the train to Snowdon but it was fully booked. This was the alternative which was considerably cheaper. It just goes along the side of the lake, not all the way around. It's pleasant enough but nothing special. We ate at...More

The children loved going on the train. We have done this a few times. Halloween was fun. The train stopped & there were photo opportunities with Halloween back drops. Nice cafe & shop on entry.

The train itself is quite pretty but the carriages are very small and a bit cramped inside. We had hoped for a trip around the lake but it set off to the adjacent station to collect more passengers and then went very slowly along the...More

After a walk up Snowdon we went for a quiet rest sitting on the train enjoying the lakeside view. Staff friendly. Trip takes about an hour and cost about £7. Nothing spectacular but thoroughly enjoyable.

Hello! I am very very familiar with this business! So it's a journey along the side of the lake, not around it! It depends where you get on so if you get on in the village, it travels all the way to the end without stopping... More
