An eclectic selection of works designed to make everyone think about the damage we are doing to our plant especially the Great Apes.

Few interesting shops that back onto the railway platform. Stopped for a coffee which was fine. Couple of craft shops and some shops selling walking gear and clothing. There was also a specialist pet shop selling jackets for fogs etc. Although these were quite expensive.

Lovely gallery to visit. I was impressed outside on the station itself by the steel mesh rhino on the station platform. This was designed so you can put your plastic bottle tops inside the rhino instead of throwing them away. There were 2 very impressive sculptures I took pictures of one was a cockerel and the other was a mountain gorilla with a baby on it's back. We walked across the railway bridge and walked into a converted railway carriage cafe and had a hot drink and a cake. There are cafe's on the station platform too. This is a well maintained and well looked after station.

Beautiful intriguing little art gallery hidden underground. Some very powerful imagery and messages about animal conservation. My friends were very surprised by some of the stories but working in animal conservation myself it was interesting to hear that they weren't aware of these things. Beautiful photographs and prints of orang-utans, I would have most definitely bought a rhino one had there been one. One of the most interesting art galleries I have ever come across (who'd have thought in North Wales!) with its profits going to good causes.
