An easy walk from Betws along the quiet back road, with just a few fiddly steps to negotiate as you reach the bottom. What you finally come across is a beautiful stretch of river in front of a small ravine that's a magical place to...More

First visited fairy glen with my grandad in 1979 and I always remembered it. Much to my delight I have found it again and it didn't disappoint, time stood still almost, beautiful at the bottom after negotiating a few precarious steps, make sure you have...More

We drove here and typed in Fairy Glen Hotel into our satnav, but soon saw a sign on a sharp corner for the fairy glen - up a gravel drive towards some B&Bs. There is a dedicated carpark right there and you pay £1 for...More

Wonderful stop at the Fairy Glen. Looked for brownies, pixies and woodland creatures, but just found a gorgeous little waterfall and peaceful surroundings. Didn't see any trolls either. Was a small hike, but worth the journey. Enjoy.

This is a "must" if you are staying in Cumrog Isaf Farm B&B although the general public can access it for 50p and there is a convenient car park

We recently visited this location to chill out on a hot afternoon. For a nominal fee access is gained to a pleasant, short stroll, some nice falls (the water was a bit low at the time of our visit) and the option to extend the...More

This little gem of a beauty spot is hidden away from the main tourist routes and you'll only find it if you know it's there. I have been wanting to photograph this location for a number of years and finally managed to get around to...More
