Great walks! Lovely scenic photos to be taken. Walk trails for all fitness levels but wear appropriate footwear.

Lovely place to come and visit. Plus a walk round the village to see the falls. Never seems to change. As it should be, Nice shops to visit and friendly staff. Bikers galore on the day we were there. Enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Pretty station
Sep 2020 • Couples
Just had a look here as it was near the carpark. Quaint old fashioned station. Very clean in a lovely picturesque village.

The station is very sweet and also with very old cabins on the opposite side
It's a nice place to go to and to have a walk around and see the little waterfall

Still sweet

Seems unchanging over the years. The same small train which even our teens wanted to go on. The little train shop where you buy tickets from. Friendly mini - train conductor was chatty. The cafe carriages are starting to look very run down now and the bridge also perhaps needs tarting up a little. Charming, but needs some love.

Rude Shop Worker
Aug 2020 • Family
Only went to take my daughter on the miniature train ride. On entering the shop our temperature was taken as eyes off an very elderly lady burnt into us.
The lady behind the first counter was fine.
I asked for two tickets an was directed to the elderly lady’s counter further up the shop.
I asked for two. I was charged for three. I said I asked for two tickets sorry an you’ve charged me for three. Her response, angrily was “you asked for 3”. I said I asked for two as it’s just me an my daughter” No one else. “Two of us entered your shop, two of us had our temperature taken. Just two of us”. Again her response “you asked for three” An tutting very loud an slamming my money on the counter!. I thought it best to keep my mouth shut as I literally had no words, that she’d want to hear anyway.
Then when waiting outside for the train to arrive, after abt 3 minutes, I heard her shout to her colleague “she asked for 3 HUH... absolutely no need for rudeness. I usually like old people. Have a lot of time for them but she shouldn’t be in a customer service role.
We were going to have our lunch there but I’m not big on being slated for her mistake. Retire lovely or at least get your hearing checked because you will lose more custom with your sharp tongue.
Train driver was great, no reflection of her. The ride was cute x

Really enjoyed our little train ride and wander round the shops. Breakfast on the buffet coach was good too.

Worth a visit
Nov 2019
A bit of a step back in time, very much a Broef Encounter sort of place, with the old-fashioned tearoom to match. Worth stopping at.
