Travelled from France by Irish Ferries and because of timetable had to go back by Stena line. The difference could not have been more stark. Service accommodation and food quality was four star on Irish Ferries and not even one star on Stenaline. We had a run down cabin which was supposed to be their best no level of service... More

Very friendly staff at the port and on the boat over to Ireland. Good breakfast to be had on the boat, but a bit pricey. Would definitely go again.

Currently enjoying a trip across the Irish sea to Dublin. No complains in respect of the ferry service itself. But the food is the worse I have experience in many a year. Extortionately over priced rubbish. My son got fish and chips; the fish was presented in that cheap claggy thick pasty batter not fit for a dog. The chips... More

Have used the Stena line ships on two occasions recently-first of all to go and watch the Ireland v Wales football match and the second time to take my wife and daughter and grand-daughters on a birthday trip to Dublin. On both occassions the boarding was done without any fuss, the staff were very friendly and very helpful and the... More

Had my second great experience taking the Stena ferry from Belfast to Scotland. Checking through customs was a breeze and boarding an easy walk on. The ship has ample food and drink options, nice shops, as well as seating/lounge areas to relax and watch the coastline and ocean. I will always prefer this mode of travel. The staff was polite... Good trip on the fast ferry, trip over great with few people on board. Very busy on our return which was a Sunday with a lot of coaches full of young men. I think I will arrange to travel on weekdays in future. Good clean ship, efficient boarding of our car, reasonably priced food and lots of it, my husband... More

Our return voyage Oslo-Fredrikshavn with Stena Saga was ok, but I would have appreciated that our cabin might have had a lock that functioned when we went to bed for the night. But it didn't. The matress covers were quite dirty as well, as it had been during our last return voyage too, but only one way. The maintenance is... More

Arrived at Fishguard, to catch the 2:30am ferry, we arrived 30 mins before departure as our ticket stated, when we got there everything was shut up and the ferry left at 2:15am instead, which means they loaded well before the check in should have closed. No warning at all. So had to wait in the car for 5hrs because the... More
