A really good half-day excursion for families as well as couples. Start at the visitor centre with the RSPB shop and a cafe with great cakes and light meals. Get your tickets for the lighthouse and set off down the path. It's a steep climb...More

A really windy day at South Stack, it was still pretty busy though - I didn't realise that they stopped visits to the lighthouse if it was too windy so please note that if it's what you hope to do. The views are spectacular and...More

Visited at the end of a few days in Wales, on the way home. We parked at the first car park along the road approaching Southstack so we had plenty of room and an additional walk through lovely heather, gorse, wildlife and some extra steps....More

Great place to visit for the landscape and wildlife photographer, Just be aware of long drops by the cliff edge especially if you have children or dogs with you .

There is an RSPB shop & café with a car park and children's playground beside it. The cliffs are spectacular and attract nesting seabirds in the spring. There is a steep flight of steps down to a little footbridge leading across to the lighthouse, which...More

We were advised to visit this place. Y my husbands colleague. And whilst it took us 90 minutes to get there from our holiday accommodation it was worth the drive. Stunning location and amazing views. Lots of steps but even our 3 year old managed...More

Been here many times. Absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. There is a visitor cafe with play area - lovely food, and a number of car parks. You can actually go across the bridge and into the lighthouse for a charge and dependent of weather. This...More

We visited here whilst on holidays in Anglessey & we must say this is the most beautiful part of the island. The car parks are free, but do get very busy during peak times & the last few miles of road are narrow, but it's...More

The opening times are few and far between, best way would be to google the light house and it displays the open days etc

I don't think the lighthouse is open, the visitor centre and the surrounding walks are beautiful, you can walk all the way down but not across the bridge to the lighthouse. I heard someone ask if it was still closed but... More
