Took a day return from Llangollen. The train travels slowly up the River Dee valley and follows the river for much of the route. It is a very relaxing 2 hours and a great way to see the countryside. The train and carraiges are well...More

The railway is made by the journey, as it weaves with the River Dee, plus plunging through a tunnel. Two stops along the line give you the chance to view them closey if wished. End of the line is Corwen, where the train waits 5/10mins...More

Always a pleasure to visit the Railway. Once again, a return to Carrot was the plan. There's still something magical about that firm of transport, so long may it continue, with our help.

It's a lovely location and should be really nice. Unfortunately we were very disappointed when we arrived that the guy we met from the railway was really rude for no apparent reason. We had been looking forwards to this journey but decided to leave. We...More

Lovely views along the River Dee, particularly at Berwyn. Good that it now goes to Corwen even though the new station is not complete yet. Not cheap but probably worth hte price.

Hi, if you purchase a return ticket this entitles you to a return trip back to Llangollen. However, a single does not.
