We were looking for fresh crab for our supper and searched the internet. We found this place and were going to Conwy, so picked up dressed crab and mackerel. It was delicious.

This business has been televised a lot so me and Hubby went to check it out on a busy Saturday. Unfortunately it was out of season (the harvest is September to April).

Made a pilgrimage for the family collected mussels at this legendary spot but were 10 days into the close season- why didn't we find out first? Had the cockles instead which were as nice as I've had anywhere.

Conwy is known for their mussels & crayfish. We were able to enjoy so me fresh tasters along the docks. A great find and a place to see if you have time. One could only imagine the hustle and bustle in its time.

A fascinating and unique way of fishing for mussels. When in season, Sept till April, you have the opportunity to purchase the most possible fresh mussels. The museum is worth visiting throughout the year.
