I read it was a short hike! Not sure what that definition means - it took us an hour from the top car park - and it's mostly uphill with some steep bits. However, it is worth it for the glorious views, the mountain ponies...More

A fairly easy climb for some lovely views over the Brecons. It's nestled in roaming land, so you've a lot of freedom to chose your path. Most take the straight line to the car park, but I'd recommend wandering along the ridge for a while....More

It's a good although short hike with great views. Better do it together with the loop to a nearby town

You can't miss it, as you drive into the beacons you do a hairpin uphill around it, park in the car park and 15 minutes later you're at the top with views for miles around, and it's free.

Fantastic sunny day. Good, dry, steady walk for all ages. The views are fantastic. National Trust Parking.

Ruth, from the small Fro car park on the Bettws/Pantygelli side it is about 2hrs return for fit walkers. It is a white road access from both directions but reasonable passing places and the car park is not usually full... More

NP7 7LA and approx 4 mile round trip and well worth it
