The butterfly house is set in an outstanding location overlooking a reservoir in the valley. Upon entering the polly tunnel I was greeted with many butterflies gently flying from one tropical plant to another. There are so many plants for them to enjoy and it feels a very natural habitat. As the temperature cooled during my visit I noticed less... More

A little on the expensive side but to see the kids faces when they can actually hold the butterflies its well worth it. If your wanting to take pictures with dslr cameras then they need to be in there sometime as the room is very warm (its a big greenhouse) and the lenses steam up. Ok to take pics on... More

It's been some years since we stopped at the Butterfly house. I'm glad we stopped again. Our children are grown up but there still nothing as lovely as sitting with time in a mini tropical paradise with stunning creatures fluttering silently around you. It's simple, but it's effective. It's also expensive. But, rightly so.

Our last full day of our holiday we planned to visit the Butterfly House as it was local to where we stayed. Upon arrival the visitor centre was closed so we followed the path round and came to what can only be described as half the size of a poly tunnel! There was myself, my partner and my mom and... This is a lovely little place to see butterflies and moths you have never seen before. If you are really careful you might be lucky enough to hold a butterfly on your finger, i got two. This is only a half hour outing and could have been made better with staff offering to tell you information about the butterflies or... More

Visited with our 10m old son who enjoyed himself. Overall it is a pretty small green house but is full of butterflies. Quite expensive for what it is. Would bother going back.

The butterfly room is literally 1 large room, so for the price I felt it was a little lacking. However, I gave this 4 stars as my 7 year old absolutely loved it. We spent well over and hour in the butterfly house trying to get butterflies to land on her hand (they have honey water dotted around for you... More

Visited as part of a holiday in the area. Found this attraction very disappointing, we paid well over £20 for 2 adults and a child and spent around 20 mins inside as there was very little to see. We have visited similar attractions in the past and found this to be one of the worst value for money experiences we... More
